Pretty women out walkin' with gorillas down my street
From my window I'm starin' while my coffee goes cold
Look over there
Where?
There, there's a lady that I used to know
She's married now or engaged or somethin' so I am told

Is she really goin' out with him?
Is she really gonna take him home tonight?
Is she really goin' out with him?
'Cause if my eyes don't deceive me there's somethin' goin' wrong around here

Tonight's the night when I go to all the parties down my street
I wash my hair and I kid myself I look real smooth
Look over there
Where?
There, here comes Jeanie with her new boyfriend
They say that looks don't count for much, if so there goes your proof

Is she really goin' out with him?
Is she really gonna take him home tonight?
Is she really goin' out with him?
'Cause if my eyes don't deceive me there's somethin' goin' wrong around here
Around here

But if looks could kill
There's a man there who's marked down as dead
'Cause I've had my fill
Listen you, take your hands from her head
I get so mean
Around this scene
Hey hey hey

Is she really goin' out with him?
Is she really gonna take him home tonight?
Is she really goin' out with him?
'Cause if my eyes don't deceive me there's somethin' goin' wrong around here
'Round here
Somethin' goin' wrong around here
Somethin' goin' wrong around here
Somethin' goin' wrong around here
Somethin' goin' wrong around

Huh. Despite being in regular rotation on every classic rock station ever, I've never really listened to the lyrics of this very closely beyond the chorus.

That's going on my list of "Songs That Sound Really Upbeat and Fun, But Are Actually Kind of Dark and Weird."

Also, I usually don't like live versions, but that one is better than the studio one, I think.

"The pack of feral dogs was seen this morning rooting around in the dumpsters behind the library. They made off with some discarded Chinese take-out containers, a rusty futon frame, and two homeless men- likely to become henchpeople to the wild dogs."

I hope I'm not over stepping my bounds with this but our Avatar does have somethings to say that I think will put our fears to rest.

Man, I have been going back and forth over whether or not that link was appropriate to post somewhere here for like a week and change. Now I don't need to wonder anymore! So thanks.

   >our Avatar does have some things to say

For generations now, Diqiu's Korrologists have wondered about the following item from the Phoenix Flight communications logs, at Mission Elapsed Time 04:08:12:33.202:

CAPCOM: We copy you down, Phoenix. Outstanding.

Sys. Spec. Korra: Hey, Asami. You were right, it worked!

Flt. Dir. Sato: Didn't I tell you years ago I could take you higher than anyone else?

Sys. Spec. Korra: Ha ha, you win!

Joe's band really cooked in the days of those first few albums, through Night & Day at least. Hell, Anthrax didn't have to change a note for their cover of "Got the Time." Caught him a few years back. Aside from questionable mixing decisions on the part of the venue, they continued to cook, though it was a little more low-key than my inner teenager was hoping for.
