Then he%0D%0Aturned to head the other way - and pulled up sharply as he nearly%0D%0Acollided with an even weirder figure.  He couldn%27t even tell just what%0D%0Athis one -was-.  It was just a mechanical shape%2C about five feet high%0D%0Aand roughly cylindrical%2C with stubby%2C asymmetrical %22arms%22 jutting from%0D%0Athe front %28one apparently a weapon%2C the other ending in a sucker-%0D%0Amanipulator%29 and a turretlike head sporting one softly glowing blue%0D%0A%22eye%22 on a periscope%2Fstalk-like affair at the front.%0D%0A        Dalek Ambassador Kosh Neranek gazed silently at the Fallen%0D%0APrince for a few moments%2C then spoke.  As always%2C his voice was a harsh%0D%0Amechanical grating sound issuing from a speaker grille set on the front%0D%0Aof his armored casing%2C between his two arms.%0D%0A        %3C%3CYOU DO NOT BE-LONG HERE%21%3E%3E said Kosh.%0D%0A        Akio blinked%2C then summoned his haughtiest look and replied%2C %22I%0D%0Ahappen to be an invited guest.%22%0D%0A        Kosh%27s eyestalk swung back and forth%2C just once%2C the Dalek%0D%0Asomehow imparting to the gesture an utter finality.  %3C%3CYOU ARE THE BLACK%0D%0APRINCE%21%3E%3E he said.  He moved slowly closer%2C gliding silently over the%0D%0Aground%2C and the baleful blank glow of his one green blue seemed to look%0D%0Aright through Akio.%0D%0A        %3C%3CYOU ARE AN E-NE-MY OF THE DA-LEKS%21%3E%3E Kosh declared.%0D%0A        Then he moved closer still%2C until his sucker arm was almost%0D%0Atouching Akio%27s chest.  The iris of his eye widened to its fullest%0D%0Aextent as he inclined his eyestalk upward to look the Fallen full in the%0D%0Aface and intoned%2C%0D%0A        %3C%3CYOU WILL BE EX-TER-MI-NA-TED%21%21%3E%3E%0D%0A%5B%2Fbig%5D%5B%2Ftt%5D%5B%2Fpre%5D%0D%0A%0D%0A... and mayhem ensues.%0D%0A%0D%0A--G.%0D%0A-%3E%3C-%0D%0ABenjamin D.
