I have need of a colored illustration showing the Heart of the Rose%2C Utena%27s main sword%2C in planview.  I didn%27t figure this would be that hard%2C since the Heart looks essentially the same as her canonical sword on the TV show%2C the Sword of Dios.  Unfortunately%2C it does not appear that the creators of the show ever bothered to include such a picture of the Sword of Dios in any of the artbooks I have.%0D%0A%0D%0AWhat I do have is this line art%3A%0D%0A%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.eyrie-productions.com%2FUF%2FFI%2FSOS%2FGFX%2Fswordofdios-lineart.png%0D%0A%0D%0AWhich is the correct view%2C but unfinished.%0D%0A%0D%0APhil is up to his hindquarters in Other Business this week%2C and I hate to pile on by importuning him to color this%2C but I lack the Photochops to do it myself - my skills align more toward layout and fontology%2C I%27m more of a designer than an illustrator.%0D%0A%0D%0ASo I figured I%27d throw it to the floor and see if anybody out there in forumland wanted to give it a shot. Alright%2C I can do that.%0D%0A%0D%0AAs for fast%2C well... the lion%27s share of the work took me about two hours%2C give or take a bit%2C and was mostly focused on redrawing the outline.  I used to do pixel art on a MUCH larger scale%2C back in the day.  So yeah%3B lot of that you see there was done with a pencil or line tool.  %3A%29  I can%27t take credit for the gradients though%2C those were all software tools %28except for the aqua gem thing in the guard and the tip%2C which I have yet to find a satisfactory tool for%29.
