The Stones originally built it for their own use%2C then went into renting it out to other bands as a sideline.  Nowadays it belongs to the National Music Centre in Calgary.%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bb%5D3%5B%2Fb%5D The Mothers of Invention%2C composer and generally avant-garde musical personality Frank Zappa%27s band.%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bb%5D4%5B%2Fb%5D The Montreux Casino%2C where the Jazz Festival was held until December 4%2C 1971%2C when%2C during a performance by the Mothers of Invention...%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bb%5D5%5B%2Fb%5D ... someone in the crowd fired an incendiary device %28some accounts say it was a flare%2C others a bottle rocket or Roman candle%29 into the ceiling of the theater during the Mothers%27 performance%2C and the casino was completely destroyed.%0D%0A%0D%0A%28As an aside%2C December 1971 was a tough month for Zappa generally. I %5Bi%5Dthink%5B%2Fi%5D it%27s the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic%2C today part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.
