Tenchi Muyo! is a delightful anime series that came to life in 1992 and is still being produced today. It's an action comedy series about a boy, Tenchi, who, through a series of misadventures, comes to live with five pretty alien girls: Ryoko, a space-pirate demon with energy powers, Aeka, the crown princess of planet Jurai, her little sister Sasami, Mihoshi, a ditzy space cop, and Washu, a 20,000-year-old genius with the body of a 12-year-old girl. Between fighting various bad guys and solving problems that come their way, Ryoko and Aeka spend their spare time battling for Tenchi's affections.

Star of Jurai may be a unique piece of fan-fiction in that it is written as an "audio drama". That is, it contains no action description, only dialogue and sound effects. The story is divided into two "episodes", both of which are written to be about 30 minutes long. An enterprising group of amateur voice actors could perform this story, and I'm still hoping one will someday.
In the story, Aeka gets a surprise visit from a childhood friend and travels to his ship to spend some time with him. However, when the others go looking for her, they find evidence to suggest she's been kidnapped! Tenchi and Ryoko confront the "kidnappers" in Ryo-oh-ki, and an insidious plot to get rid of Tenchi is slowly revealed.
This is my version of how Kiyone and Mihoshi met each other and came to be a team. In this story, the two women are paired together as bunkmates during Kiyone's second year at the Galaxy Police Academy. It doesn't take long before Mihoshi is getting Kiyone in trouble, and soon the two are on the trail of a criminal conspiracy within the academy itself!
One thing to note: as the story begins, Kiyone is an upperclassman, and Mihoshi is a freshman, yet later a reference is made to them graduating together. I wonder how that happened? Oh, well, that's another story.
The concept behind this story was developed with the help of Larry Mann, and if more stories are written, characters created by him are due to appear.
This is my latest work, in progress as you read this! When complete, the story should run about eight chapters in all.
In this story, Lhim-Zen, the mentally unbalanced son of Washu, tricks the cast into letting him "borrow" Ryoko and Ryo-oh-ki for a trip to a spaceport. His plan is to enslave Ryoko and force her to run a violent errand for him on planet Jurai. What he doesn't count on, however, is Aeka's mother using Ryoko's absence as an excuse to invite Tenchi and the others to Jurai (perhaps for a shotgun wedding)!
